Established in 1875

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to have an impact on our way of life, we want you to know that your safety is our main goal. There will be temporary changes in the way that visitations, funeral ceremonies and memorial services will be scheduled.  Many churches and meeting places have closed.  We will follow the recommendations set by the Governor and Centers for Disease Control, but we will never change the quality of care that you come to expect.  It is not known how long this will be in effect, but be assured that we will continue to operate 24/7 to serve you.  We will be pro-active to make our facilities a safe place.  We ask that if you have a fever or flu symptoms not to come in but contact us by phone (217-367-1122), email ( or on our website at

An Environment for Sharing & An Atmosphere of Caring
Locally Owned and Operated

Have questions about pre-planning your final wishes? We can help you understand the process in a way that is easy to understand and with no commitments. We are a long-established funeral home in the community (1875) and our mission is to provide information and support when needed. Again, there is no obligation or fees for our pre-planning information. The only expenses that will be needed is when you want to establish a pre-paid service of your choice with us. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week and by phone 24/7. We are here to help.

The people we meet and the relationships we form throughout our lives are an important part of who we are. These relationships enrich our lives and build friendships that are dependable and long lasting.

We also have an on-site crematory which means that your loved one never leaves our care until all services are completed and released to the family.

During our many years of service to the community we have continued to make every effort to provide individualized and dignified services to make these last moments meaningful. Take extra comfort during difficult times knowing that we are always available. Your road to healing and closure begins here.
